I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at University of Florida. I develop theory and methods for reliable inference in nonstandard settings, such as mixed models with variance parameters near zero, and software implementing them.

Previously I was an Assistant Professor in Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet and a post-doc at TU Wien. I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, and a B.Sc. in Economics and M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Gothenburg.

I serve as an Associate Editor of Statistics and Probability Letters.
